The Benguet State University (BSU) is a state university in the province of Benguet, Philippines. Its main campus is in La Trinidad. BSU was created by PD 2010 to carry out programs along instruction, research, extension, and agribusiness through dynamic and responsible governance.

Dr. Joyce Bernardino practices Internal Medicine and Clinical Nutrition in Cavite. She finished Internal Medicine Residency at De La Salle University Medical Center. Aiza Kris M. Bernardo is a registered-nutritionist dietitian and an active member of the Nutritionist-Dietitians Association of the Philippines. She is currently an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Nutritional Sciences Division of the Institute of Human Nutrition & Food (IHNF), College of Human Ecology (CHE), University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB).

Mr. Cabanilla leads the Nutrient Requirement Unit at the Food and Nutrition Research Institute, Department of Science and Technology in the Philippines. His Unitinvestigates the energy and nutrient requirements of Filipinos across different age, sex and physiologic groups. His work has centered around nutritional assessment using stable isotope techniques, and in particular has looked at measuring human milk intakes, body composition, and total energy expenditure. Other research interests include assessment of vitamin A status and development of standards and tools towards improvement of nutritional status of the population.
