Batangas State University is a state university in the province of Batangas, Philippines. Established as a manual training school in 1903, Batangas State University is the oldest higher education institution in the country's Calabarzon Region.

Robby Carlo Tan is a Senior Science Research Specialist at the Department of Science and Technology- Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) and is a current board of director of the NDAP for Public Health. Recently, he is leading in the implementation of the Nutrition and Aging R&D and the establishment of the Nutrition Physiology Laboratory of the DOST-FNRI.

Donnel has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Southern Mindanao, where he graduated as Magna cum laude. He also has a Master of Public Administration from Cor Jesu College, and is currently pursuing a Ph. D. in Rural Development at the University of Southern Mindanao.
