Joan Delomen, RND, MSc

Joan I. Delomen is a registered Nutritionist-Dietitian and an Assistant Professor 7 at the Institute of Human Nutrition and Food, College of Human Ecology, University of the Philippines Los Baños. She was the Division Head of the Nutritional Sciences Division of the Institute in 2021. Aside from teaching, she has been involved in research in the field of food and nutrition and has authored and co-authored published journal articles. She is the lead author of the article titled "Ascertainment of Nutrition Care Process (NCP) Implementation and Use of NCP Terminologies (NCPT) Among Hospital Dietitians in the Philippines”. In addition, she is one of the proponents of the Master in Clinical Nutrition Program of the Institute and one of the authors of the Laboratory Manual in Medical Nutrition Therapy. Furthermore, she renders professional services as a Nutritionist-Dietitian through the Nutrition and Wellness Clinic of IHNF.
