A registered Nutritionist-Dietitian with 19 years of experience in the nutrition profession specializing in clinical nutrition, food service, academe, health & wellness, and the food manufacturing industry. She served as the First Family Dietitian of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Her vast experience and expertise in the industry were valuable not only inside the classroom but through various speaking engagements as a consultant/ guest lecturer in corporate, community, academe, print, online platforms, television, and radio programs tackling issues in health and addressing problems through lifestyle change and proper nutrition.

Awarded as STAR teacher by the Consortium of the South last 2017 and coach of student groups who bag awards in several culinary and research competitions. She is currently a full-time instructor at the University of Santo Tomas and one of the Board of Directors of the Nutritionist-Dietitian’s Association of the Philippines (NDAP), the recognized Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO) for ND’s in the Philippines.
