She is currently a board member of the Professional Regulation Commission's Nutrition and Dietetics.  Prior to being in PRC, she worked as a Corporate Nutritionist for two multinational corporations for a total of 16 years.  In the early part of her career, she was as a nutritionist for Bantay Bata and a research assistant at UP Diliman.

With the skills that she acquired from her previous jobs, she was able to launch the family business Nutrify, which provides freshly made, nutrient-dense beverages including juices and smoothies. Also, she was able to pioneer Hope for the Future, an NGO that promotes sustainable agriculture and sustainable nutrition and is active in community development programs that assist improve the lives of the marginalized communities.

She completed her MS in Nutrition at the University of the Philippines in Diliman after earning her BS in Nutrition at the University of the Philippines in Los Banos. She is happily married with two sons.
