Dr Blecenda Miranda Varona is the Founder of the Asian Institute of Lifestyle Medicine and a Doctor in Public Health. She graduated from Adventist University of the Philippines, Cum Laude. She was also an adjunct professor in the College of Health in Adventist University of the Philippines from 2007-2011. Doctor Blecenda Varona has designed, coordinated, and ran various Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine programs for corporate companies, government agencies, churches, schools, and communities. She’s also a resource speaker for the Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine seminars and programs on Preventive Health Care. Dra Varona has organized the 1st and 2nd Asian Vegetarian Congress, designed the Vegetarian Counter CD. She was also a trainer in Southeast Asia Pacific on Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine under the Southern Asia Pacific Division of SDA. She has written books, manuscripts, and articles about Nutrition. She has also attended various conferences in the US, like CHIP Facilitators Training Program and CHIP SUMMIT to name a few.
